Angel Of Windword Reviews
Angel Of Windword was, without a doubt, a very delightful surprise. The characters are expertly developed and well rounded -- including the supporting cast. I found this to be extremely important as the romance is just one of many plots taking place during the story and felt that it added a necessary amount of depth to the work. This is more than your average romance. You are given mystery, suspense, lush surroundings, rich wording and imagery, and a carefully interwoven plot that will keep you guessing. Maggie has a very promising career ahead of her, and I'm so glad I decided to pick up a copy of her work. If you enjoy regency romances you should definitely give this story a try.
The suspense combined with intrigue and the romantic scenes will leave a reader stunned this is a debut novel.
Ashira Datya’s Review Angelique, a beautiful young French girl, learns from her brothers and step mother that she is to be married to Nicholas Kent, the wealthy son of an English business man. Heartbroken that she must leave the man she loves, Angelique and Nicholas marry and return to England. Once in England, Angelique and Nicholas find themselves caught in a web of deceit and mystery.I really enjoyed Angel of Windword, it was a thoroughly charming and well written novel. Angelique was an easy character to understand, and the way that Nicholas was described was drool worthy. It made me wish, for a brief moment, that I was Angelique. I have given Angel of Windword three and a half Tea Cups; I would love to read this story again, and I am eagerly awaiting the sequel. I give Angel of Windword a heat rating of two; the love scenes are stirring, but not overly graphic. I can't wait to read the sequel.3 1/2 Tea Cups!
Lots of suspense and a real twist ending. I never saw it coming. Shades of Rebecca. My biggest complaint was it ended too soon.
