Halloween was always a special time for the sisters, and this story really ramped that up. Trick or Treaters, the house taking on a life, and magic of it's own, and rampant mayhem. All made for an enchanting, magical, and wild ride. I enjoy the spells in these books as well. It is always such fun to read them, and see their creation.

Cute & short Halloween read! And a nice Charmed story with my favorite characters!

I've read a few Charmed books and usually enjoy them. They're written for teens so they're not great literature or anything, but they're fun and bring back memories of the show, which I was a huge fan of. However, this one was a little more grating than enjoyable. As each sister is introduced into the narrative, a lot of incidents from the past are mentioned. Example: "Three years ago, a 'Return to Owner' spell on a pair of Grams' red go-go boots had sent Paige back to 1967." I remembered all of these incidents from the TV show, but by the end of the first chapter, it was information overload. And this continued throughout the book. At the time the book is set, Phoebe is married to Coop. Yet on page 122, Coop is referred to as Cole. Twice! The most interesting scene in the book (to me) involved Paige brewing a potion, and asking Piper to hand her the powdered dragons' blood. I had watched Off The Map the night before, about a group of doctors working at a clinic in a tiny town in the South American jungle, and two of the doctor's had walked through the jungle, scratching at trees with a knife, looking for dragons' blood, a resin. They used it as an adhesive to make temporary bandages.

Considering this book is the last in the Charmed series, I think it was decent. The story is nothing special, but it was nice to have Leo, Henry, Coop, Vincent, Wyatt, and Chris in it. I also like that the book takes place during Halloween and gives Paige some closure with the leprechauns. As other people have noted, there are several instances where the editor should have caught distracting typos (such as when Cole, Phoebe's ex husband, is used instead of Coop, Phoebe's current husband and the one who is actually in the story). If you're a fan of the series (book, comic, and/or tv) then I'd recommend reading this novel.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!Ok, yes. I read what is basically Charmed "fan fiction" ok? I stumbled upon the first set(aka with Prue) of these at my local library around the time I was 14 and fell in love with them since I am a HUGE fan of Charmed. I was ecstatic to find this one at Half Priced books as it is the only one I am missing. For fans of Charmed, this is perfect. The book takes place 5 months after their defeat of the "Ultimate Power" and it is just a nice little closing story that allows the fans to see the sisters all married and happy. It was wonderful. I highly recommend it.

Now this is exactly the kind of spin-off story I was looking for. True to the characters, true to folklore and to what the Charmed series was all about,Trickery Treatwas an easy read, engaging, and fun. What a coincidence that I finished it on Halloween, too! If you're into the Charmed series, I'd say save this book in your quest of reading through the series for last. It'll be a great refresher after the other books--most of which aren't half as good as this one. Wow. This book just really made my night.

The story of this book takes place after the events of the show, which I really liked, because my favourite male characters were in it (Leo, Coop and Henry). It was very entertaining, I thought, good story, though, here and there, I found some mistakes, like a change of names or something (for example, I think the author meant to write "Coop" but wrote "Cole"). But other than that, I really liked it.

LOVED. But you've got to be a fan of the show to get into it. The characters and story lines have already been put into place and they do some explaining but not enough for someone completely new to the series.

The storyline was good however there were lots of errors pertaining to the history of the charmed ones and just in keeping with the storyline. It was kinda fun trying to see how many errors I could find.
