3.5 starsThis was such a fun and cute story! I didn’t expect it to be this interesting and I didn’t expect to like Jason this much. Sarah is a great character as well, she’s very smart and knows what she wants in life… well, at least until Jason shows up. I loved their banters and the chemistry between them and it was a great pleasure to see how this story progressed. I love Mila’s writing style so this was another win for me.*Copy provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.*You can read this review on BookishFever.

Wow, I am batting a thousand on less then stellar books today! This book started off interesting. A 25 year old virgin goes to an office party to loose her virginity, now I am not to sure why she chooses an office party? Seems a bar or club would be a better option, but hey, what do I know?? She meets Jason, they go to his hotel room, sexy times commence. He finds out she is a virgin, and pulls the classic "dick move" and gets mad, stopping the sexy times. Alas he can't seem to stay away from her and the story plays out.OK, so first of all I disliked Sarah, she was just so robotic in every interaction, no emotion towards this guy, no longing for him. She was basically written like a dude in this story. She dumps him, well more like ends "things" with him. They really have no relationship other then partial sex, and one complete sex act. They never go out on a single date, or really spend any time together. I have no clue why Jason was remotely hung up on her??This brings us to the insanely abrupt ending. It's not a cliffhanger, but with a very few pages left, and they were still broken up, I was beginning to get worried. I mean Sarah didn't even act like she missed him or anything?? Then BAM, her friend brings her to Jason's place, he has a romantic dinner waiting, and he says he'll wait until she finishes her studies to give this a chance if she wants the same, they agree. THE ENDI was like WTF? That's it?? Blah...don't waste your time on this one!!

At 25 years old and still a virgin, Sarah has decided that the time has come to pop the cherry with a one night stand. The opportunity presents itself at her best friend's office party. There are a few cute guys but one in particular stands out. He oozes a sexiness that can only come from experience, he is really hot and a little bit bad boy too.Jason came along to support his sister and is always on the look out for a casual hookup for the night. Sarah is the perfect candidate to fulfil that need, she is beautiful and definitely giving him the vibe that she is interested in getting to know him intimately. Needless to say her desire to lose her virginity and his desire to sleep with her sounds like the perfect fit right? The night couldn't end more wrong for them though. Sarah's failure to disclose her 'sexual status' completely throws Jason. Why would a girl as beautiful and inexperienced as Sarah want to just give it up to a random guy. He is determined to seek her and find out why. He also needs to figure out why he can't stop thinking about her....I don't know about you but I believe that having sex/being intimate with someone is a very emotional thing. Some men have the fuck-em and chuck-em thing going on but I think that women get more emotionally invested, even if just for a night. In my mind, there was no way that Sarah was going to be able to give that part of her to someone and forget about them. Will one night with Jason be enough for her? This was a really sexy, fun read :-)

*This book was received via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review*This was an okay read that started off strong but began to flail. Although it is a novella, I feel like there wasn't enough character development. I also found that I didn't really care much for the characters.

3.5 starsThis book really needs a sequel. Sarah and Jason were just getting started and then the story ended. I am not okay with that. I need a sequel Mila Rossi. Please. Sarah is a bookworm and PhD student who has decided it was time to lose her virginity. She has never been one for relationships because she has been so focused on school. All she wanted was to find a guy for a one night stand and that was it. End of story. However, once Jason takes her virginity without realizing she was a virgin, he decides that first time wasn't good enough and plans on finishing what he has started. Jason is a tattooed MMA fighter and he isn't one for relationships as well as not exactly being "boyfriend material". Sarah never would have thought about having anything more than a one night stand, neither did Jason, but they can't stay away from each other very long. He, for the first time, wants something more. Sarah has never considered relationships to be a priority even after she meets Jason. She wants no distractions but as he keeps going back to her, she, in the end, just can't resist him. I found Sarah to be very relatable. I am almost exactly like her. I got her. Jason was pretty adorable as he seemed to be tough guy. He kind of turned into a lovesick teenager at some points in the story and it was very cute. I would have given this book a 4 star rating if the ending wasn't so abrupt. Seriously, the two of them were just starting to get really good. They never thought they would need more than a one night stand but end up realizing they found the right person to have something more and so I really do need more. I will be waiting for a sequel. *hint hint*I received this ARC via Netgalley.

3 quirky stars. The story's overview made me want to read it and it wasn't a bad read. I didn't absolutely love it and I won't rave about it to anyone who will listen but I enjoyed it. I mean, a 25 year old virgin has the worst first time ever after picking a hot guy up from a party? Hilarious. I'm kind of mean but it is hilarious. The story that unfolds afterwords is filled with an intriguing heroine who isn't all about stars in her eyes, flowers, hearts and candy and a hero who can't seem to grip that concept and the fact that she wants to move on to other guys. The major reason this story lost two stars for me involves the fact that I felt there was more story to be told, it felt short and I felt cheated. The other tidbit is how it wasn't wrapped up neatly at the end, I'm a sucker for neat ending packages. The writing, otherwise, worked for me and the characters mostly worked for me. I would have liked a bit more depth of the major characters but would have been okay without it should the story have been a bit longer and ended neater.

After reading the blurb I was already cringing for Sarah who had made the decision to lose her virginity to a random stranger on a night out. I felt so sorry for her. I was also ready to dislike Jason who was the lucky guy she'd chosen. The author wrote these opening scenes very well. She had me laughing, feeling sorry for Sarah only a little bit and totally respecting Jason for his actions. After hearing her little cry of pain he stops straight away and she doesn't even have to ask him once let alone need a safe word or beg him 5 times to get off her. He does freak out a little bit because she is a virgin and didn't tell him, but he does so in a completely adorable and gentlemanly way.Their interactions after this are laced with humour and sexual tension. Sarah's over protective cousin was another entertaining character and he added an extra layer of humour. I really enjoyed this book. It is a sweet and funny romance and I highly recommend it.

Received a copy of the book from the author in exchange for an honest review.POSSIBLE SPOILERS AHEAD.I have very mixed feelings about this novella–as in my feelings toward these characters flip-flopped a bit. Do I like you or not? Yes, no, I don’t know? You see, “Sarah Thompson is a twenty-five year old girl on a mission: go to her friend’s office party, find an attractive guy and lose her virginity. When she meets rough and rugged Jason Hendricks, she knows she’s found her one-night-stand.”I mean, I’m all for casual hookups, but the motivation behind Sarah’s casual hookup felt weird. At first, it seemed like she had the “just get it over with mentality,” and that kind of mentality rubs me slightly the wrong way. However, I suppose the situation fits Sarah’s personality. She’s a sweet girl who is also very smart and thinks very logically and methodically. But why did Sarah think that a friend’s office party sounded like a good place to find a hookup partner?? I don’t know about you, but that’s probably the last place I would look, and maybe I’m missing something by thinking that, but I just don’t see the “logic” behind this.Anyways, this office party does end up being a successful pick up spot for Sarah. She meets Jason, a retired MMA fighter turned trainer (so HOT). And I thought their initial interaction was both cute and sexy.“My plan is to have a good time,” she said, locking eyes with him. “What’s your plan?”“To make sure your plan doesn’t fall through,” he said…I was surprised by exactly how fast they headed to Jason’s room to get it on (yes, I really just said “get it on”). When Sarah said she needed some air, I thought that they would really go outside to get some air and maybe attempt a conversation that would really hike up the sexual tension. Then they would go to get it on…It all just felt a bit rushed. Now, I understood part of Jason’s reaction when he found out that Sarah was a virgin, but I didn’t understand it completely. I can imagine how big of a shock it would be to find out about Sarah’s lack of experience in the heat of the moment–a definite mood killer. BUT that’s no reason to act like a total A**HOLE. Thank goodness Sarah shows grit and spine at this point. She puts him in his place with a real zinger and continues to do so throughout the book, which I really liked. You tell him, Sarah! Go girl! Be a boss lady.I may not fully understand Sarah’s plan, but I appreciate the way she was written. She was independent, sassy, and not the typically perceived “clingy virgin.” She went after what she wanted. Jason, on the other hand, drove me a bit nuts because he believed the whole “virgins are clingy/emotional” thing at first. Pretty archaic thinking if you ask me.What brainiac looks for a one-night-stand?He’d expected her to be more irrational he supposed. However virgins were supposed to act.Since when did girls have such a casual outlook on sex?*cringes* I literally wanted to slap or shake the sh*t out of him sometimes. But good news! Jason eventually got his head out of his butt, and I actually started to like him. He even got really sappy towards the end, which may seem like too drastic of a change for some readers, but I really liked it.I LOVED the secondary characters–especially Nick. Secondary characters are so important because they allow readers to see different sides of the main characters, and I really appreciate the fact that I was able to see different sides of Sarah and Jason when they were with their friends or family members.Ultimately, I’d say that my feelings for this novella are still a little mixed up. Did I hate it? No. Did I love it? No. I simply liked it. It was a nice, quick read dealing with a common and relatable theme in a unique way.WARNING: For those of you that try to avoid reads with strong language, this novella may not be for you.

Change of Plans by Mila Rossi was offered to me in exchange for an honest review - she's a new author for me & I can't resist the lure of someone new! Sarah Thompson is an over-achiever, intent on a career, not being a stay at home wife, like her mother! With all her study (she close to finishing her dissertation for her Ph.D.) she's ignored "Life" in general; in particular, she's still a virgin at 25 & she see this as a problem. She's on a mission with the help of her neighbour/bf. They're going to an office party & she's dressed to get attention. It doesn't take long for her to catch the eye of Jason Hendricks, an attractive MMA fighter & they seem to hit it off. Jason's looking for a one-night stand & Sarah seems interested. She accompanies Jason to his room & as they are getting it on, he learns that she's a virgin & he's so not happy! He takes her back to the party & leaves...But that's not the end of Jason or Sarah. He feels bad about his reaction to her & wants another chance. But what about Sarah? You'll have to read this story to learn how Jason thinks he can save the disastrous situation with Sarah and even if she's bothered by his reaction. There's plenty more action in this short story, especially with an alpha male who may have failed in his quest of satisfying a woman! Then again, Sarah's very clinical approach to losing her virginity might prove to be a further problem for Jason. There is definitely a role reversal going on in Change of Plans; Jason is worried about how Sarah should have a perfect first time & Sarah seems very detached from emotions about the situation. Maybe that's because of her constant need to succeed at her studies? This was an amusing story - I felt sorry for Jason, who thought he'd met someone he'd be able to relate to, only to mess it up so easily! Sarah was frustrating at times but had certainly learnt about romance by the end of the book. A good read for a spare afternoon. I'll keep my eye out for other books by Mila Rossi.Reviewed on behalf of Once Upon An Alpha.

This maybe a short read but it is packed full of story. I finished this one in about an hour and a half and usually with novelet size stories I have issues getting into it because you don't get to learn a lot about the characters. With this one you didn't have that problem at all, and while there are still parts where I would have liked to have seen more the fact that I feel like I got so much out of such a small amount was very impressive.Sarah has been so focused on her school work that she's made it to 25 with her virginity intact something she intends to rectify.Jason was expecting a one night stand with the brown eyed beauty but realizing she was a virgin derailed all his plans. The 2 had expectations for that night that were not met, seeing each other again and again in different circumstances they both have to try to figure out what it is they really want or if the disaster of a one night was all that was ever meant to be.Sarah has her life figured out but you can see how she is uncomfortable in social situations sometimes although she tries to push past it as best she can. With Jason we didn't get as much background but we still got enough to feel like we had an idea about him. He enjoys having a good time and working with his fighters when the idea of more comes up he has to decide whether or not he wants to go with it, but he is a guy that follows instincts. The interactions between these two ranged from funny, to steamy, to knock their heads together and get some sense into them. This a good quick read!

Change Of Plans by Mila Rossi was a fun quick read about a girl who is entirely focused on her studies at the expense of her social life and a former MMA fighter who doesn't sleep with virgins. When these two get together it is explosive to say the least. This book was a 3.5 star read for me.Sarah is a 25 year old virgin who decides that it is time to get the deed over with. Going to a party with her friend, she decides to choose a guy for a one night stand. Much like her approach to her research, her approach to losing her virginity is methodical and well planned. Jason is a former MMA fighter who know trains fighters. He doesn't know anything about virgins, but the little he does know is shattered with the way in which Sarah approaches what is supposed to be a monumental moment in a girls life. What happens next with Sarah and Jason is almost comical in how they each get under the others skin but for completely different reasons, having the reader wondering what will happen with these two.

Change of Plans was a short but enjoyable read. The main characters, Sarah and Jason, are well-developed and realistic. Sarah is a well-educated woman and not afraid to speak her mind. She knows what she wants and goes after it regardless of what others may think. I love seeing female characters that are strong independent instead of whiny and clingy! She definitely doesn't make things easy for Jason :-) Jason....oh, Jason. He may come off as a jerk at first but give this guy a chance. I thought he redeemed himself pretty quickly after their first encounter. Don't let the tough exterior fool you. He's a big softy on inside! Please don't let the length of Change of Plans deter you from this book. The story had a nice flow and plenty of details. I never once lost interest or felt like something was missing. I'll definitely be reading more of Ms. Rossi's work!

If I see MMA in the title or description more often then not I will read it. I have a weakness for those yummy MMA heroes. In this one we have Jason who helps trains fighters. He's thrown for a loop when Sarah wants a one night stand with him to lose her "V" card. It's a little crazy someone would want to just throw their "V" card like that with a stranger, but once really get to know Sarah you can see where she's coming from. Luckily for her Jason was the guy she choose because he was a gentleman when other men wouldn't have been. Over all I enjoyed the book. I liked the humor and banter between Sarah and Jason.

copy received through Netgalleythe blurb for this story grabbed my attention. The story is too short to due justice to the plot. it started off pretty good but ended very abruptly. It had some cute and funny moments. Jason seemed to be interesting. I would love to get to know him better. the little we read about Sarah didn't do her justice. I didn't quite like her. it would be a pretty good book if it was expanded.

I received an ARC of this book for an honest review. Before reading Change of Plans, I had never heard of Mila Rossi. I read the synopsis and was sold when I saw it involved an MMA fighter. What can I say, I'm as sucker for them. LOL I'm glad I said yes to this one, because it had a good storyline and it was a quick read, which I like sometimes.Change of Plans was about a 25 year old virgin who really just wanted to change that and what better way to do so than with a one night stand. She could accomplish that in one night and not have to worry about the pressures or distractions of having a boyfriend (which she didn't have time for). Wam! Bam! Thank you Ma'am! Don't let the door hit you on the way out kind of thing. Well, it didn't quite go the way Sarah Thompson wanted it to go.Sarah, a student studying to get her PhD in Cultural Anthropology, goes to a party with her best friend looking like she's ready for a good time. Sarah meets tattooed hottie Jason Hendricks (an MMA fighter/trainer) who seems to be looking for a good time. Perfect, right? They talk, they flirt, they go up to Jason's hotel room for a quick romp in the hay so to speak. Things are hot and heavy for a bit and then BAM! Jason realizes she's a virgin. Scratch that...she WAS a virgin. Oh crap! He doesn't do virgins! He doesn't know what to do with a virgin. Jason kind of freaks. He made her get dressed and took her back to the party. Then he left. Left her there wondering what the hell just happened.I loved the idea of this story as I don't mind reading about girls who haven't lost their virginity yet. The start of this book was a little rushed for me, but once it got to Sarah losing her V-card, things slowed down a bit and I was able to enjoy the details and conversations going on in the story. I stayed up late one night reading, because I needed to find out what was happening between them and where Mila was taking these characters. Oh and the sex? HOT HOT HOT!! For being a virgin, she sure learned a lot from the porn she would watch. LOL! All in all this was a fun, romantic story where even though you're not looking to find love, it can come knocking at your door when you're least expecting it. Sarah and Jason fought it. They really did, but it was a hard task to accomplish. Did they go their separate ways or did they get the happy ending I wanted? Read it to find out. :)Thank you Mila Rossi for giving me the opportunity to read this book. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Smart, Sexy & Fun!!!"Change of Plans" is a sweet short story that will keep you hooked from beginning to end.Seriously, I love when I start a book and can do nothing else until I'm finished with it!This was a carry my kindle through the house, take the clothes out the dryer, load the clothes from the washer to the dryer and re-load the washer while the kindle sat on the dryer type of book.#cantstopwontstopSarah Thompson is a twenty-five year old girl on a mission: go to her friend’s office party, find an attractive guy and lose her virginity. When she meets rough and rugged Jason Hendricks, she knows she’s found her one-night-stand.Jason knows about MMA fights and boxing. He doesn’t know jack about virgins and wants to keep it that way. When Sarah turns out to be just that instead of the experienced vixen she led him to believe, he’s in for the shock of his life.Trying to move on from their disastrous night is easier said than done, as Jason’s guilty conscience can’t let the sweet, brown-eyed girl go. Determined to show her a good time, he tries to convince her that a redo of their time together is a must. She is super smart and doesn't want to end up being a housewife like the women in her family before her.So, no spoilers, but after their first "sexual encounter" I loved the banter...."I don't do virgins." Being called one by him, with that tone of voice, was starting to get on her nerves. "Well, you just did," she said, narrowing her eyes at him. "Don't push it," he shot back, closing the small gap between them. "Get over it and finish what you started," she found herself saying.Sarah and Jason's romance has many twists and turns and you can really feel the chemistry between them. The author's words very realistically portray a REAL romance. It's believable and engaging.Good luck NOT finishing this book!#SexyFighters #StrongFemales #Smuttastic#StaySmutty

Sarah is a hardworking student. She never dates because she spends all of her time on her research. Ever since she was a young girl her mother taught her that Sarah needed to grow up as a respected young woman to find a good husband with enough money. Sarah has done everything in her power to show her mother that she wants to make something of herself. Leading the life she has Sarah finds herself a virgin at the age of 25. When her friend takes her to an office party Sarah has one goal, find a one night stand and lose her virginity. As soon as Jason walks into the room Sarah knows she has found the one who is going to help her. Jason has no idea that Sarah has never been with a guy before. He is very attracted to Sarah and he already booked a room in the hotel. He wanted to be prepared for a potential hookup. He gets the shock of his life when he finds out Sarah's secret. Jason drops her off at the party as soon as he can and leaves immediately. When their paths cross again Jason has to admit that he cannot forget her. He thinks about her all the time. Jason has been an MMA fighter and after hurting his knee he now trains other fighters. He is badass, an alpha male who has never been worried about a girl before. How come he finds himself following Sarah around and trying to convince her to give their one-night stand another try?Mila Rossi has written a great story and I liked Sarah right away. She's a researcher all the way and that is exactly how she approaches losing her virginity and having sex. She is driving Jason insane with her down-to-earth statements and I laughed out loud about how confused he was because of her. Change of Plans is refreshing and different. I loved this angle of a romantic story and was flying through the pages. Mila Rossi is definitely an author I will keep following.

This was a quick and steamy read. I sometimes like when stories aren’t dragged out and full of random details. This was one of the times that I really liked it. And this isn’t just a typical romance either. It was really one that made me think, oh yeah you shouldn’t judge a book/character by first impressions. But, it was really good. In fact, more than once I did laugh because it’s almost as if Sarah and Jason literally switched roles. Sarah is working on getting her degree and she’s sick and tired of being a virgin. So she comes up with this crazy plan just to get it over with. I can tell you, I’ve never heard of this type of book before so of course I’m interested. And it did take me a bit to get used to Sarah’s nonchalant ways, and it was hard for me not to write her off as someone who thought she was better than others. I did end up liking her, because as the ending nears, I saw why she did those things. I can’t say, but just know you’ll see it too, if you take a chance on it. Now, Jason is the all-around bad boy in this book. He’s not exactly what I thought Sarah would go for since both are total opposites. Jason is hard and demanding, but Sarah gives it right back. But the thing is, Jason is so confused by Sarah’s willingness to write him off and forget about him. This is where it started to get hilarious for me. Both their actions was just not your typical reactions. But, like I said, it’s a great read and I for one was highly glad it went in a different direction. It was very interesting to see and I would recommend this to someone looking for a fun, quick read.

ARC provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.I LOVED THIS BOOK.Change of Plans was so refreshingly different and full of antitypes (anti-archetypes), and it was just sooo nice to read something that veers from the norm.I loved how strong and independent Sarah was. She wasn't your typical "innocent, clingy virgin" (as Jason loved to point out), and it was just so refreshing and amazing to read. She was independent and knew who she was and wasn't afraid to do her own thing and depend on herself. She was a great role model and heroine to follow along.Jason was such a refreshingly amazing hero as well. On the outside, he appeared to be your typical hardball/fighter/carefree hero who couldn't be bothered by women or distractions. But as he got to know Sarah, his control went out the window, and HE was the one who turned into a lovesick puppy always thinking/pining over Sarah and I LOVED IT!!! It was sooo refreshing to see the man pining after the woman, wondering what she was doing, why she wasn't with him, why she was so practical and indifferent about their whole arrangement. It was pure gold.Overall, this novel was amazing. I did not want to stop reading and continually found myself thinking about these characters when I was forced to put it down. I absolutely recommend this one!!My Jason :)

Sarah is a 25-year-old virgin who goes out one night with the goal of losing her virginity to any guy. She meets Jason, a MMA fighter and the two go to a hotel room and get busy until Sarah screams and Jason finds out she's a virgin. Now Sarah is devirginized but doesn't see what the hype is about because Jason didn't follow through all the way. The two start to see each other everywhere and you'll just have to see where it goes from there. I received this book as an e-arc from netgalley and I really enjoyed it. I would probably give it a 4.5. The things I enjoyed about this book is that Sarah takes her education and school extremely seriously. I like Jason and I like that the gender roles are kind of reversed. Jason kind of acts like the virgin in the relationship and Sarah acts like the one who is into one-night-stands.Things I did not like about this story are that Sarah feels ashamed that she has waited so long to lose her virginity. I get that is a general consensus but it should also be accepted that she waited. And she wasn't really waiting she just didn't have time to date because she was focused on school which again not a bad thing. With all that being said I still really enjoyed this story. I sort of wish there was like another book because you do want to see where the relationship goes and there's a lot of story left to tell.

It might be short, but the story doesn’t leave you hanging! Sarah has been so focused on school and proving to her mother she can do more than be a housewife, she has put her love life on hold…way on hold. Now at 25 she is determined to lose her virginity, and who does she pick, a MMA fighter turned trainer, Jason. A simple one night stand is not in the cards for her since it turns out hers and Jason’s lives intersect more than they should for a love ‘em and leave ‘em type of not – not that they exactly had one of those either. It may have been a fast read, but the story and characters were well developed, which isn’t something many authors are able to accomplish in the lower word counts of novellas. Mila Rossi’s Change of Plans has everything that you are looking for in a good romance – sex, love, friction, laughing, teasing – and add to it a dash of ignorance and confusion as Sarah and Jason learn what real love is. The characters are memorable and you want to know everything about them. If anything, I wanted to see more of their story in the future, and I want to know where I can find a guy like Jason. LOL. I highly recommend Change of Plan and give it 4 stars. You need to pick up this book!

*~*~*~* 3. 5 Stars *~*~*~*~* This was my first book by Mila and overall it was just ok for me. There were times the book really pulled me in, but other times not so much. This book is pretty quick read and very easy to follow. Sarah is a twenty-five year old virgin. She just wants to lose her virginity and get it over with. So when her friend invites her to an office party she puts her plan in motion. Enter Jason… Sarah just wants one night and that’s exactly what Jason is looking for, but everything changes when he realizes she’s a virgin. So why can’t he get Sarah out of his head? There are a few times in the book I got frustrated with Sarah and how she acted. I know she only wanted one night, but when Jason starts putting forth an effort she totally shuts him down completely. I wish these two had spent a bit more time together instead of constantly pushing each other away, but overall it was okay.

Change Of Plans was quick fun read. I would give this book a 4 stars and recommend to others. Even though it was quick read it definitely didn't leave out an details. This is the first book I have read by this author but I will definitely be following her for long time to come. Sarah is the nerd in many ways because she has always focused on her school and not the "boys". She finds herself at 25 in a situation to rectify a very awkward problem that she has.. she is a virgin.. but doesn't want the quintessential boyfriend to loose her virginity too because she doesn't have the time to put into a relationship.. so a one-night stand is to her the only option...Jason is a retired MMA fighter who doesn't do the "love" thing for many reasons. When he finds himself at a party and on the prowl so to speak he meets the sexy Sarah, he knows what she wants and he makes his move. He doesn't realize Sarah's secret until its too late... so he ends her plan of seduction and loosing her virginity.... but did he do the right thing?A one-night stand that turns into so much more is what you will get from this book, but will it last? The Student becomes the Teacher so to speak.Go pick up this book ASAP you don't want to miss out on this fun fast read!

I'm quickly becoming a fan of Mila Rossi. Somehow, her books just work for me and Change of Plans was no exception.First of all, I liked how the author portrayed both characters. I totally got why Sarah had a no-fuss attitude towards her virginity and simply wanted it to be over with. I kind of felt bad for Jason because I do believe that he had the right to know it was Sarah's first time. As a result, it ended up being a less than pleasant night not only for her but for Jason as well. Of course, there wouldn't be a story if it went perfect and, let's admit it, sex is not always magical. There were a few things about the book that I didn't get, one of which was why Nick thought that Jason was bad news and that Sarah should stay away from him, especially taking into consideration how easily he got over it. Also, I found it hard to believe that in a city as big as San Diego people could have so many unexpected encounters. These minor qualms aside, I really enjoyed the book and this is a definite recommended read from me.

This is one of those books that at the end I was saying "AWWW". Sarah Thompson is a 25 year old college student and wants to rid herself of her "v-card". She's going to an office, Christmas in July, party with her friend, Vicky and she has decided that tonight is the night she finds a random man and has a one night stand so she's not a virgin anymore. She feels she has watched enough porn to know exactly what she's doing! LOLAt this party, she meets a hot guy named Jason. Even though he's in a suit, she sees tattoos, so she knows he's not the typical office geek. She meets him, flirts and they head off together so she can execute her plan. He wasn't as thrilled with her losing her virginity to him as she was. You could say he freaked out! I loved her sassy comments to him...LOL!Jason is a MMA trainer and works with Nick, who just happens to be Sarah's cousin. He's very upset with Jason for being with his cousin and warns him to stay away from her. Will Jason heed his warning and stay away? Or will he give into his feelings and pursue her? This story was a great novella and a quick read because it was so good! Reviewed on behalf of Once Upon An Alpha

We first meet Sarah as she is getting ready to go to her best friend Vicky's company party. She doesn't want to wear what she is wearing because it isn't her. While at the party Sarah meets Jason and she knows that he is the guy for her. Things happen and they left on bad terms when they met again was when Sarah was at her cousin Nick's party.Sarah is working on getting her PHD in Cultural Anthropology, she doesn't want to be anything like her mother. She moved from the East Coast to California. She is 25 years old. Jason used to be a fighter, he know trains fighters for MMA. He doesn't like being lied to, always gets roped into helping his sister, Nicks friend and co worker. Nick is Jason's friend and Sarah's cousin. He is very protective of Sarah. He works with Jason. Vicky wants her boss to notice her, works at the same company as Kristin, she is Sarah's best friend. Kristin is Jason's sister. This is my first book by Mila Rossi and it won't be my last. This book is very well written and the characters are very well developed. This book is a fast read and I loved being able to feel connected to the characters.

I love this story the author does a great job of drawing you in and keeping you entertained. Sarah is a straight book girl that doesn’t have a social life other than what to study next. However, she decides to spice things up by having a one night stand! Boy does things get SPICEY! Her world is turn upside and she doesn’t know how to juggle the new changes in her life. Jason can’t believe what he’s just done. He is disappointed himself and mad as hell at the little beauty that tricked him. On top of it he can’t seem to get the little vixen out of his head. How could one night change so much?I really wanted this story to go on. I want to know what happens next in Sarah and Jason story. Mila does a wonderful job of keeps the story moving and interesting. I recommend this one!*** I was given this book for a honest review. This, however, plays no part in how I felt about this book.***
