daughters of the civil war Reviews
Two sides to the same storyTwo woman tell their story of their experience during the civil war. They fall in love with men who are bestriends and who are serving together in the war. This is actually 2 books in 1. The story was really over for me after the the first book so I had trouble getting into the second book.. But, after a slow start, I finally got into the second story. All said, I enjoyed thiis book.
A Great Reenactment of the Civil War.An excellent book on the hardships of soldiers wounded, captured and imprisoned in terrible conditions. Ladies who helped injured soldiers on opposite sides because it was the right thing to do. Than after telling the story about David than it goes into the story about Jack's experience's of the war and illness. It was an excellent book!
Excellent storyThis story of romance and adventure was a joy to read. I love stories of historical fiction. The Bregdan Chronicles were the same
Not impressedNothing new or different, same old, same old. You can find much better Civil War Romances. This was not only predictable but trite.
