I found the characters rubbed me the wrong way and were, for the most part, difficult to like. The conversations were awkward and the main character's "rebellion" was too juvenile to be enjoyable to read about, especially at the end. I found it unnecessary for her to throw her ridiculous behaviour in the face of a family that, although stiff and straight-laced, didn't seem to deserve it - with the exception of the cousin Eve. It was too much like she was lashing out at them because of circumstances none of them had control over leaving me feeling that for a 30 year old, she needs to grow up a little. I won't be reading any others in the series.

Now that I think of it this book was my first "kind-of" read erotic novel. I remember my sister took it from her work and she let me borrow it. Must have been somewhere between middle school or early highschool. I liked it but didn't understand or care much for the story until I dove into the FSOF era and I just now connected the dots. How hilarious, my brain keeps surprising me with it's slow and dumbness...
