Although many of these poems could be pared down substantially they are at times downright beautiful and profound. Magical. A freaky and haunting voice is at work here. A voice that seems to be declaring that it is defined by sex and desire, like a whore (or prostitute) might be. Problemmatic, but compelling.

Sensuous, emotionally revealing, and compelling prose poems that are modern yet occasionally have some timeless fairy tale qualities. A fresh new poetic voice.
